ABOUT ME
Photographer Dana Berenson has been fascinated with photography since she got her first camera in junior high school, a lovely Nikon FM-2 with a 50mm lens. Which she dropped into the ocean and lost within months.

But she continued with her passion undaunted, and now shares her love of the medium with her warm-hearted portraits of people and pets through La Muse Photography. With a photojournalistic style that aims to capture a moment in time and the true spirit of her subject, she prefers to work on location: at home, a favorite park, the beach or anywhere special to the client.

Dana has a Master of Fine Arts degree from Lesley University, and a certificate from the New England School of Photography in Boston. In addition, she has studied photography at the Massachusetts College of Art and the Maine Photographic Workshops, where she participated in intensive seminars with world-renowned photographers Michele Grecco and Joe McNally.

Dana is a member of the Professional Photographers of Massachusetts and the New England Association of Professional Photographers. When she is not volunteering her time photographing events and animals that need homes for the Boston Chapter of the Animal Rescue League, Dana lives in Brookline with her husband, Matt, and her much loved Australian cattle dog mix, Boo Radley.
